A lot of damage is done actually in the cleanup after hurricans on the coast, basic water, electric, gas, and other infrastructure all become covered in sand and debris. When the trucks begin moviing it, around residential and business sites, they end up doing even more damage a lot of the time. With the UNiversity, we used sub-meter GPS units to map each and every infrastructure hub that we could find, to better empower recovery teams after storms.
